New department. Until August 2022 this department formed part of the old Department of Bioengineering and Aerospace Engineering.

In the meeting of the Governing Council on July 14, 2022, it was agreed to eliminate the Department of Bioengineering and Aerospace Engineering and to create the Department of Bioengineering and the Department of Aerospace Engineering, effective as of September 1, 2022. As of that date, the projects and their corresponding funding are ascribed to the new departments. The staff reflected in this report are computed on December 31 for each year, for which it is shown in each case according to the departments in force on the corresponding date.
